Mission Matters FCENS collection

The Mission Matters team would like to thank all who made welcome bags and donated items to go in them to greet guests arriving at the YMCA rooms run by Forest Churches Emergency Night Shelter.  

Thank you also to everyone who came along to ladies’ night last week and helped pack the bags; we made up 12 bags for women and 27 for men, and have a few surplus items and bags left over which will be passed to the charity and delivered this week.  

Tied to each bag was a label bearing a welcome message from St. Johns, and this verse from Matthew 25:35. "I was a stranger and you welcomed me"
