Friday and Saturday at Highgate

After a long hot bank holiday weekend drive on the Friday afternoon we arrived for dinner and a relaxed evening enjoying the grounds and facilities. After a hearty breakfast (why is it necessary to always have a three course breakfast at a hotel whether you need one or not!) we started our morning teaching session.

In the afternoon we took a trip to Brixworth Country Park and Pitsford Water to take advantage of the beautiful weather. There was a short walk and a long walk team who made it round the lake fuelled by ice cream, along with a lovely illustration of why you can't take a wrong turn if you trust your Church family!

The evening involved cheese and wine, quizzing, football, highly competitive Uno matches and some wonderful crafting including some football trolling in the form of friendship bracelets.
