Advent continued...

Over the past week our Advent activities have continued apace. Little Fishes celebrated the end of term with a party in the church. We had fabulous play equipment provided by Little City, lots of delicious snacks and a Christmas sing song. The festive jumpers and sparkle were very cheering indeed! Youth had a great fun Christmas meal together - it being Laurence naturally there was a quiz which the older big kids won. The ladies also celebrated Christmas with a meal out together. Martyn and Dave continued their mission to play in every corner of West Essex over Christmas by leading a really wonderful Singing for the Brain Christmas Carol service in conjunction with Year 3 at St John's School. This special and moving event was very well attended by the parents and the children's singing was absolutely delightful.

And we are not finished yet, the first of our Carol services is this weekend with our traditional carols and readings service taking place at 7.00pm on Sunday!
