7th October – Churchyard Gardening (9.30-12.30pm)

Hello volunteers!

Hoping that some of you will be able to join the gardening team this Saturday, even for a little while.  We are planning to weed and tidy the Garden of Remembrance by the Lych Gate and neaten some of the more overgrown war graves, which need tidying

before Remembrance Day.  The weather forecast is not great, so if it is trying to rain and you are not sure whether to come, please ring or text

me beforehand on 07885 842342. Hope to see you on Saturday, Sue.

Operation Christmas Child (Shoe Box Appeal)

We will soon (9 November ladies night) be packing the shoe boxes for this wonderful outreach.  If you could pick up a few bits and pieces while you are shopping, we would be very grateful.  Gift suggestions: Toys: dolls or stuffed toys (with CE label), toy trucks, ball, etc.  School Supplies: pens, pencils, colouring books, etc. Hygiene Items: toothbrush and toothpaste, bars of wrapped soap, flannel.  Or if you prefer, cash to pay towards the postage to send these amazing parcels.

Please hand to Lucy Folkes.  Thank you.
