Current UK strategy is to delay the spread of Coronavirus to protect those who are more vulnerable health-wise. Here is a summary of the current advice for us to put into practice:
- DO Wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds – (Top tip: reciting the Lord’s Prayer is about 20 seconds)
- Use hand sanitiser gel (which is available on the entrance table in church) if soap and water not available
- Always wash your hands when you arrive at Church and when you get home
- When you cough or sneeze – don’t forget to “Catch it, Bin it, Kill it”
- Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
- Contact NHS 111:
- if you think you might have coronavirus
- in the last 14 days you’ve been to a country or area with a high risk of coronavirus
- you’ve been in close contact with someone with coronavirus
- DON’T Touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
- If you are suffering with coughs and sneezes, please refrain from handshaking
Let the church office know if you are self-isolating as we would like to care for you as best we can
We are following advice from the Church of England, Public Health England and NHS with regards to this so please understand that our instructions may change over the coming weeks.
