On one Sunday a month we participate in “Messy Church” which allows adults and children to worship together in a more creative and participative way.
On various Sundays during the year (mainly the first Sunday of the month) alongside a Morning Praise service in the church building, we run “Messy Church” in the hall. The aim of Messy Church is to allow adults and children to worship together in a more creative and participative way. It’s based around the idea of joining together in a number of themed craft projects, and then a short time of worshipping together near the beginning or at the end of the session.
Whilst Messy Church is open to all in our congregation, it is a wonderful opportunity for parents and their children to worship together in a very active way, and so we warmly encourage parents with primary-age children to join them. Although there will not be a crèche as such at Messy Church, we will provide an area in the hall for parents with very young children.
Messy Church activities start at 10.45am so participants can come straight to the halls.
After both services we gather in the Centenary Hall for refreshments.
Do join us for a fun-packed time of worship and learning together!
