Social events - we hold a variety every year, to which all are welcome. These range from the popular “Raise the Roof” evenings with live music, to Quiz nights, Fire work parties, Harvest Suppers, New Year’s Eve parties and others. Some evenings will involve some more thought-provoking input. Click on special events during 2010 for more details. Do come and join us!
Pre-school children and their carers. Little Fishes, Thursdays during term-time in the St John’s Mary Cotton Hall, 1.30pm - 3.00pm (Corinne Brixton, 8504 6652). More details are available here.
Friday coffee morning - 10am - 11.30pm, in the Fellowship Room at St John’s. Coffee and chat - all welcome. There is Holy Communion on the first Friday of the month (there is also a coffee morning at St Stephen’s on the last Friday of every month)
Senior Men’s Fellowship - for older gentlemen, there is a once a month lunch club with a speaker (Roy Allen, 8504 1631)
Men’s and Ladies’ meals - there are regular meals out together at local restaurants, to give people the chance to get to know each other more. The Men’s meal is usually on the first Monday of each month (Patrick Coppeard, 8418 0982). The Ladies’ meal tends to be once a term (Chris Hawkins, 8531 5066).
Film nights - a monthly chance to view a film on a big screen, and then discuss it. (Corinne Brixton, 8504 6652)
